Geoffrey Portway, a 40 year old British man living in Massachusetts, pleaded guilty today to plotting horrific crimes including rape and cannibalism against children.
After a plea bargain settlement in which he pleaded guilty to soliciting the kidnap of a child and distribution and possession of child pornography, Portway faces between 18 and 27 years in a US prison after which he will be deportation back to Britain.
Portway spent months online soliciting American Michael Arnett to kidnap a child for him, with the intent that Portway would ultimately rape, kill and eat that child.
Agents who raided Geoffrey Portway's Massachusetts home last year found the basement equipped with a dungeon lined with sound-deadening material containing a small makeshift coffin with external locking devices, and 4,500 pieces of child pornography including images of injured, mutilated and deceased children.
